"I'm fascinated with integrating new technologies with my paintings to shift the way viewers understand and engage with a traditional work of art.
In 2011 I discovered QR codes, which led me to researching, experimenting and creating QR codes in a painterly yet still scannable format. A little over a year later I was introduced to augmented reality and, as far as I'm aware, I was the first professional painter in Scotland and one of the first in the world to incorporate AR with an oil painting."
NHS Fife recognises the importance that art plays in creating an environment conducive to good health and well being. Our collection of artwork is intended to be enjoyed by patients, their visitors and staff alike.
