By producing such a close-up image the artist has drawn our attention to the wonderful variety of colours and textures on the surface of the leaf. Without reading the title we may not be able to recognise that is a leaf, instead it could be seen as a completely abstract form. Suzanne Black is a professional photographer with a studio in the North Fife countryside. She splits her time between the Alps and Scotland, where she predominately photographs weddings.
