The irises here have been rendered in a very painterly style, with the essence of the flowers at its core captured in the purple petal with the bright yellow eye. Paint splatters trickle throughout, and the characteristic wash of watercolours can be throughout the flowers at the top and the peachy ground below the stems.
NHS Fife recognises the importance that art plays in creating an environment conducive to good health and well being. Our collection of artwork is intended to be enjoyed by patients, their visitors and staff alike.
