The vibrant colours in this strong and simple image capture the sense of Crete as inviting, welcoming and joyous. Janetta Bruce was born in London but has spent most of her life in Perthshire and Fife. She is a self taught artist and has been a member of Cupar Art Club for over 40 years. Janetta Bruce won a shell prize in 1999 and has received several Shell recommendations over the years. Her paintings are displayed in Canada, America and Crete as well as the UK.
