Gavin Cameron is an artist, illustrator and photographer living and working in Scotland. Born in 1983, Gavin enjoyed creating anything and everything from an early age. Entirely self-taught, Gavin sits outwith the art establishment and, as such, crosses the elitist boundaries found in today's art world. He hopes to assimilate modern culture, social media and technology into his artwork. His work reflects a modern, urban world tempered with a touch of nostalgia and 1980's pop culture. A love of music and cinema has greatly influenced his portfolio. His main artistic influences are tenebrism, realism and photorealism.
'Portrait of Willie Nelson' was a winner in the 2007 Fife Art Competition.
NHS Fife recognises the importance that art plays in creating an environment conducive to good health and well being. Our collection of artwork is intended to be enjoyed by patients, their visitors and staff alike.
