Kosana Marton (now Kos Kirbyson) studied Art and Design in Glasgow and Fine Art at Edinburgh College of Art between 1991 and 2005. She paints in an impressionistic style to capture colour, light and textures using acrylics and mixed media. Kosana lives in Fife and is inspired by Scotland’s scenery and coastline. She also has a keen interest in figurative work. Her work is in private collections throughout the UK, Europe, USA, New Zealand and Dubai. This painting is one of nine in the NHS Fife collection.
