“My artistic interest lies in animals, particularly greyhounds and horses as they're part of everyday life, but I also enjoy creating studies of wildlife I encounter on a daily basis within my garden and workplace. I often depict my subjects at restful and quiet times which gives a calm aura to my work and paint mainly in oils using a reductive technique where I find it interesting to remove surface paint rather than continually adding to it. “
