Feline Fable I

Born in a small village in the East of England in 1951, Cyril Croucher graduated from Southend-on-Sea Art College and began work as a professional artist. He changed career and only returned to working as an artist after 20 years as a property surveyor, boat builder and gardener. His work has grown in popularity and he has held numerous successful exhibitions across the South West of England and beyond. Cyril Croucher lives with his wife at the Millpool Gallery in a small fishing village in the west of England. When asked what he gets out of painting Cyril replies, “happiness.”
