ART COLLECTION
This mosaic represents the legacy of the pottery industry in Fife and the 5 potteries which operated at one time.
The mosaic was created by students of Fife College using fragments of original pottery which they collected from beaches in Fife. In the past pottery seconds were discarded into the sea. Pieces of that pottery washed back up onto Fife shores has been recycled into this work of art.
NHS Fife recognises the importance that art plays in creating an environment conducive to good health and well being. Our collection of artwork is intended to be enjoyed by patients, their visitors and staff alike.
