Liz Yule lives in Fife and is mainly inspired by Scottish landscapes, seascapes, harbour and street scenes. She is a Shell art competition prize winner but is perhaps best known at the winner of the Channel Four 2001 Watercolour Challenge. She tries to capture the feeling of light in her paintings using an impressionistic style and a bold use of colour and tone. Liz Yule is based in Tayport where she teaches painting classes and works in her studio.
NHS Fife recognises the importance that art plays in creating an environment conducive to good health and well being. Our collection of artwork is intended to be enjoyed by patients, their visitors and staff alike.
