Stephen Ratomski is a Fife based artist and printmaker whose work originates from observing the landscape and natural environment. He graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in Drawing and Painting and taught for many years in Fife at Inverkeithing High School. Combining detail and the atmosphere of places, he carefully composes texture, colour and shapes to create evocative and bold artworks often with a narrative built up through complex layering. Stephen is Chairman of Fife Dunfermline Printmakers Workshop and founder of Fife Polish Arts Group. He exhibits regularly throughout Scotland in major group shows and has exhibited in group shows in Poland, Hong Kong and Japan.
