Roberto Gonzalez Fernandez was born in Spain and studied Fine Arts at the Escuela de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid. He works and lives between Madrid and Edinburgh, painting in a style which could be described as a crossover between conceptual and realistic painting. His main interest is the depiction of human figures and their inner life. He also experiments with using different mediums, such as photography and video.
NHS Fife recognises the importance that art plays in creating an environment conducive to good health and well being. Our collection of artwork is intended to be enjoyed by patients, their visitors and staff alike.
