Dorothy Black is a teacher and an established artist. Her studio is in a converted church in Milton of Balgonie. Dorothy has exhibited in many group and solo exhibitions and has built a reputation for powerful draughtmanship, strong compositions and bold use of colour. Perhaps best know for her figure paintings, Dorothy also enjoys still life and print. Her rural surroundings inspire the cretaion of large-scale mixed media drawings.
