Harvey Daniels (1936-2013) was born in London and attended Willesden School of Art and the Slade becoming a lecturer at Brighton College of Art from 1963 to 1989.  He exhibited extensively in Britain and overseas and his work can be found in collections all over the world.  Daniels was a founder member of the Printmakers Council and fellow of the Royal Society of Painters and Printmakers.  He was awarded an honorary RE (Royal Society of Painters and Printmakers; previously the Royal Society of Painters and Etchers) in recognition of his service to printmaking.  Harvey Daniels is known for his abstract and mostly geometric style and his work has attracted many awards including the Chichester Open, 1998, and Bankside Gallery, 2000 and 2004.  Harvey Daniels’ work features in many collections including the Metropolitan Museum New York, the City Art Gallery in Leeds and Grampian Hospitals Art Trust.
